Team Updates
The
Rivalry Continues... Team Canada vs Team USA
HOCKtoberfest is proud to be hosting a women's sledge hockey exhibition series between Canada's National Women's team and their American rivals, the U.S. National Team. Showcasing Windsor's newest state of the art accessible facilities and female hockey's newest sport, a three game series is scheduled for the HOCKtoberfest Female Hockey Festival.
Be sure to mark this one on your calendar and come on out and support show support for your Country's athletes.

Welcome English Ice Hockey Association!
The “England Women” and “England U16 Girls” are coming...
They are representing England at the National level in their age groups. After a series of exhibition games between the North and South of England, two teams have been selected. The Senior Team will travel to Prague in August to train and the Juniors will attend the School of Hockey Excellence in England in March.
Both will be here in October displaying the state of
female hockey in their nation!

(Effective 12:01am May 31, 2006) All enclosed
workplaces and public places in Ontario are now smoke free under the provincial
Smoke-Free Ontario Act (SFOA). This includes restaurants and bars in which
food or drink is served, sold or offered for consumption. Smoking on patios at
these venues will be prohibited if the patio has a roof or a partial roof. (A
'roof' includes an awning, tarp, canvas sheeting or any other permanent or
temporary covering. A stand-alone umbrella covering a single table would not be
considered a roof.)
